The 3-minute Breathing Space is a brief, yet powerful, practice to bring awareness to yourself in this moment. The practice can be done in any posture and anywhere.

Try weaving them regularly into your day. 

In this practice we simply allow our attention to rest with the physcial sensations that arise with each in-breath and each out-breath. Each breath is uniques and always happening now, it acts as an anchor to this moment.

Naturally your attention will wander. Whenever you notice that you've been distracted, just gently and kindly return it to the breath.

This practice, is of opening our attention wide to receive sounds, letting them come and go. Simply being aware of sounds as they are.

We then move the attention from sounds to thoughts. Watching these come and go also.

Both are observations of the play of mental experience.
